Classes will cover social lindy hop moves and a swinging DJ will play perfect practice tunes for lindy hop. The licenced venue has proven itself to be a fantastic destination for a social evening. The evening will include two 30 minute lindy hop classes at beginners (8pm) and intermediate (9pm) level and lots of freestyle practice between and after classes. You will be able to learn and recap leadable moves for lindy hop freestyle, you can learn from a great team of experienced coaches too! The evening runs from 7.45-10.30pm and runs every Wednesday evening.Brooke, Debbie and other swing dance company teachers have spent many years building up the local lindy hopping community by running workshops, mini-courses and courses in lindy hop and related styles. Lindy hop is considered to be the original swing dance, dating back to the 1920s, 30s and 40s. The Swing Dance Company's top couple, Brooke & Debbie, are excited to share their passion and wealth of experience at this new club night. Fareham Working Mens Club is a lovely venue with an intimate atmosphere and social layout that has proven popular over many years. A licensed bar with club prices means that you can dance, relax with friends and have a drink all under one roof.
